Corgi Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered

Theo is a sweetheart. Part-corgi, part-bull terrier (our best guess), he'll cuddle on your lap and loves being around people. He's lived with cats (between one and three) for most of his life. Theo has had significant training (sit, stay, down, etc.). He is very obedient in low-distraction environments, highly food-motivated. He may be a bit protective of his owners around other dogs, but warms up to them through prolonged exposure. We regularly goes to doggie day care and on pack walks. The finest, sweetest fellow. We both work full-time. Theo needs a home where he can have more interaction with people. *courtesy post*

Corgi Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We are looking for a new loving home for this sweet little pup. Simon's original owner could not keep him so he is terribly shy (although enthusiastic and friendly) and it will take a little time and patience for him to trust again. If you are looking for a pup who is instantly crazy about you without getting to know you first, Simon is not the little guy for you. Simon is a Corgi and Papillion cross. He is 4 1/2 years old, perfectly house trained, healthy, neutered, and vaccinated. Right now he has a few extra pounds and is approximately 16-17 pounds, but his normal weight would be around 13-14 pounds. Simon was very much loved, ... (Read More)had great care, and has had the same owner since he was a tiny puppy-he came from a family friend and was one of a litter of 4 puppies. Simon seems to get along better with dogs larger than himself, as he is sometimes a bit aggressive with smaller or same-size dogs. He is in general a very happy, tail-wagging dog who loves to play. He loves going for walks on the leash and will bring the leash to you. He hasn't been around cats, so we do not know for sure how he will react but he is not overly aggressive when left alone. One of the things he likes is to play fetch, run after toys and bring them back to you or have you chase him for them, and to snuggle on the couch, especially when it gets chilly and you throw a blanket on. He sleeps on his favorite dog bed with his little blanket in the bedroom, and wakes up early in the morning to greet you with kisses.     Lily's current owner adopted her six years ago out of one of the LA County CA Shelters. They were told Lily had been adopted twice and returned and would be euthanized. PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in California
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in California if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
