This little girl is very lovable once she gets to know you. She came from an abusive home and is scared of most men. She loves cats and dogs and is very playful. She wants nothing more than to cuddle up on your lap and just be loved! She just needs a chance.

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-30-00100Daisy (female)
This dog is our family pet. There is someone in our neighborhood that is shooting animals and this morning she was shot. Luckily it wasn't severe and she was able to be stitched up but we don't want this happen again and she not be so lucky. As hard as it is for us to have to get rid of her we want to find her a safe home...

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-13-00077Bingo (male)
Looking for a forever home for Mr. Bingo. He is such a sweet pup, but I think would be happier to have more attention. I have two other dogs and two cats, and I think he would like to be in a home where he doesn't have to compete for snuggle time! Bingo loves kids and would make a great pet for a loving child that is gentle with him.

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-05-00167Honey (female)
Honey is a very sweet and smart dog. She needs a loving home and a fenced back yard. She is an indoor/outdoor dog who is now being kept inside all day. She knows not to get on furniture, and she can sit and shake hands. She likes children and taking walks. She is a little shy at first but once she trusts you she will be a great companion.

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-09-00222Ernie (male)
Meet Ernie! Ernie is a 1 year old corgie/Shepherd mix, that came to us from Dekalb County Animal Control. He is about 30 lbs full grown and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, crate trained, housebroken, leash trained and gets along well with dogs and cats. He was originally adopted by a woman and her teenage daughter and they didn't have enough time for him. As a result, he spent a lot of time in a crate. He has been back with us for a couple of weeks and is doing great. He loves going to the dog park and will even come to you when you call him. He is a great size for an active apartment dweller and is very content chewing his toys on a soft dog bed or cuddling in your lap.He will come with toys, bowls,leash/collar, his crate (which he hangs out in with the door open) and will be sent with his food. We think Ernie deserves his happy ending and look forward to watching him find his perfect family (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-08-00701Jackson (male)
Jack is an amazing little guy! He wondered into our backyard skinny and covered in grease. He can be a little timid around brooms and loud noises. He loves to go out for long walks or to the dog park. He is super healthy! Our schedules have changed since we first adopted Jack and his 'brother' Phill and now the boys are left alone, locked in a room, 12 hrs a day. Its not fair to them. We would love to find them a great home, preferably together but possibly separate.

Rescue Me ID: 13-09-28-00005Franca (female)
Sweet & energetic, this dog was rescued by a different group than her border collie companion on her last day in Murray County. Sadly, she didn't get to stay w/her companion so misses her lots & would like another canine 'sibling' in her new adoptive home. However, she's very selective about dogs she likes, and mostly seems to prefer males, but is okay with some older females. Housetrained, loving, likes to roughhouse w/other dogs; heartworm-negative, vaxed, wormed, deflea'd, on monthly HW & flea/tick prevention, microchipped, too. Please take this high-adrenaline, eager girl home and give her lots of playtime, love, and regular exercise so she can trim back down to the gorgeous girl she's meant to be (we have finally got a waist-line appearing!). About 4-5yrs and 40lbs. Adoption donation $150 against vet bills, no checks. Call 678-MEOW-NAP or email email@example.com. (Less)

Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
