Sweet & energetic, this dog was rescued by a different group than her border collie companion on her last day in Murray County. Sadly, she didn't get to stay w/her companion so misses her lots & would like another canine 'sibling' in her new adoptive home. However, she's very selective about dogs she likes, and mostly seems to prefer males, but is okay with some older females. Housetrained, loving, likes to roughhouse w/other dogs; heartworm-negative, vaxed, wormed, deflea'd, on monthly HW & flea/tick prevention, microchipped, too. Please take this high-adrenaline, eager girl home and give her lots of playtime, love, and regular exercise so ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in Georgia
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
