Rescue Me ID: 17-06-24-00081Lizzie (female)
Lizzie was adopted by us almost 11 years ago. She was a stray so we were not sure of her age nor her lineage. She has been an excellent addition to our family. However, we will be moving soon and cannot take her with us. She does shed somewhat (kept under control with regular brushing) and family member has developed allergies . Can you provide a loving home to our sweet girl?

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-11-00383Mr Stanley Peabody (male)
Mr Peabody is a small mix breed corgi/russell mix. He gets along great with female dogs in the home and all dogs outside of the home. He loves to go for walks and rides well in the car. He is leash and crate trained. He has been camping and gets along well with farm animals. He came to us as a stray but does NOT get along with the other male dog we have in the home. He is neutered and current on his vaccines. He would do best in a home without small children, he likes kids but gets nervous with lots of noise. The only reason we are trying to place him is because he DOES not get along with our other male dog. He is medium energy and would do well with a fenced yard. He does not dig or chew. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-05-13-00379Manny (male)
Manny is a handsome, smart and personable, six-year-old, 16-pound, male black and tan Min Pin/Corgi-mix looking for a loving guardian. This sweet boy enjoys rolling on his back for belly rubs with his favorite people. He is great with his person, but he has a problem with strangers. So, he unfortunately has bitten people in fear. Manny is healthy, de-wormed, neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm-tested. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting him, please fill in the online application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at email@example.com or 773-907-0305. Manny is at the Famous Fido Rescue, 3124 W. Irving Park Road at Troy Street in Chicago, Illinois 60618. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido's. (Less)

Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Illinois if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
