Pancho is a spunky little guy that was very scared at a high kill shelter where he was scheduled to die. He was terrified and because of this, he was not very approachable. HE IS A LOVER--you just have to let him know you love him too and that he does not have to be afraid of you. He is happy and friendly--once he gets to know you are not a threat. Otherwise, he is timid but he warms up fast. His ideal home would be with adults and children over the age of 10--children that understand that he will be shy at first. He will be great in a home with a fenced yard as he knows how to use a doggy door very well. He is great in a kennel and not a barker--unless he needs to warn you that someone is at the door. Did I mention he is a great snuggler and sings along with you! If you are interested in Pancho please email me at email@example.com or text me at 319-471-0752. Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Iowa if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
