|Animal ID: 14-09-19-00445Bailey (female)|
We have only had Bailey for about a year and a half. She is a cheerful, playful dog who loves to be outside in our yard. She and my older female dog have begun to have intense altercations over something as simple as walking by one another. Never over toys or food. She is housebroken and crate trained. Her crate can go with her to her new home. She has never been around toddlers. I would like her to have a new home before either one of them gets injured. It is not a good situation for either one of them.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-09-11-00070Belle (female)|
Loves to play fetch until she drops. Only with a ball though. Tug of war also high on the favorites list. Likes to sit anywhere she can be near someone. Sheds a lot all year but also doesn't get very dirty or smelly. House trained, crate trained, up to date on all shots, good dental care, non destructive. She has never destroyed a single cable or door or piece of furniture. We are putting her up for adoption because we just grew our family and don't have the time Belle needs. She would do best with someone who enjoys walks or has a yard to play fetch in. We can arrange meetings in a neutral location. Please contact me for any other questions.

Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
