Hi, I'm Hailey. I'm two years old and weigh about ten lbs. I've been with my foster mom for a while because my leg didn't work right and the doctor had to operate on it. They said something about a luxating patella. I don't know what that is but I'm glad it's fixed. Now I can run around the yard all I want. I love to go for walks and I'm a good traveler in the car. I sleep in my crate at night without a fuss. If you are interested in finding out more about Hailey, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ Hailey is ... NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in Massachusetts
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.

Queen Elizabeth II always owns at least four Welsh Corgis and currently owns five. Corgis may try to herd people by nipping at their heels. Pembroke Welsh Corgis have an almost nonexistent tail. The first Welsh Corgi belonging to Queen Elizabeth II was named Susan.
