Raleigh is a Red Heeler (either just a short heeler or mixed with a touch of Corgi) that is very calm, sweet, and laid back. She is about 4-5 years old, good with most other dogs, well mannered with kids and adults, spayed, UTD on shots and heartworm negative. Raleigh was picked up by a good samaritan, and after an attempt to find original owners, it is assumed that she was abandoned. She has been socialized other dogs and will warm up to them. She will make a great companion in any home with kids, adults, or even with an elderly couple. She WILL NOT go to any home planning on making her an outside only dog.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in Mississippi
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Mississippi if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.

Queen Elizabeth II always owns at least four Welsh Corgis and currently owns five. Corgis will fight to the death to defend their homes and families. Corgis may try to herd people by nipping at their heels. The first Welsh Corgi belonging to Queen Elizabeth II was named Susan.
