Mom has a really good nature, and the babies seem to have taken after her. The Mom, Mrs P 'Precious', was found in an abandoned church when she was very pregnant. She was given to an animal lover to care for and after she gave birth and when the puppies where old enough they were turned into a shelter. Corgi Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Mrs. P (Precious) was found abandoned at a country church. She was living there until someone took her to an animal lover in the community who agreed to let her stay on her porch for a while, for Mrs. P was obviously very pregnant. The 86 year old woman took care of the little family until the pups were old enough to go to the shelter and that is where we found this little family. Mrs. P is between 6-8 years old, and she must have had many litters in her lifetime. She's a good momma and a good dog. She gets along with other dogs, seems to ignore cats, takes treats gently, and looks into your eyes in such a soulful way that you have to fall ... (Read More)in love with her sweet nature. At the moment, Mrs. P weighs 30 pounds, but she may slim down a bit as she loses her baby weight. She will need to be spayed once her milk dries up. This is a great little dog who deserves to live out her life with lots of love and kindness, never being alone or afraid or hungry again. PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in New Jersey
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in New Jersey if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
