|Rescue Me ID: 14-09-25-00803Suzi (female)|
Suzi was surrendered by her 'owner' to a high-kill shelter. It's hard to believe anyone would do that, but it's much more common than you think. The shelter told us Suzi was distraught and heartbroken that her family had left her there. Now it's time to find her the kind of family she always deserved. Suzi is a Corgi/Lab mix, about a year old, and weighs approximately 25 pounds. This sweet and friendly girl is as cute as can be and just wants someone to love her. Please help Suzi find the loving home she deserves. We are accepting applications on Suzi at this time but please note that applications will not be processdc until 9/27/14 due to our annual fundraising event this weekend. We appreciate your patience. Interested in adopting? Please fill out our adoption application at www.OscarAnimalRescue.org Adoption Process: 1.Fill out an application 2.Home Visit 3.Adoption contract & adoption fee Suzi's adoption fee is $200.. Corgi Dogs can make good pets in New Jersey if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
