Rescue Me ID: 16-05-11-00346Aura (female)

Corgi Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Aura is a Corgi / Blue Heeler mix. She is up to date on all vaccinations and has also been spayed. She is wonderful / loving dog. Unfortunately, she was just kind of left to us by a person who had no further interest in taking care of her. We live in a town house with a very small yard and we are both extremely busy with work in order to give her the attention she needs as well as the space she deserves in order to run around. All paper work is on hand if in need of any proof of the descriptions I have left .

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-26-00348Miller (female)

Corgi Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Miller was found in the middle of the road about a year and a half ago. She was hit by a car and left. We took her to an emergency vet where she was given 20% chance to survive. Thousands of vet fees later, she is a happy and healthy puppy. She is still living with me, as I am extremely picky about where she goes to live. She is used to a back yard. She does not need to be around any other pets, as she can be very easily upset after her abuse.

Animal ID: DF1507014Elsa (female)

Corgi Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Mange (Demodectic)

Poor Elsa is a sweet Female Terrier mix that was spotted at the local County dog pound in pain and scared. She did not want to come to me at first but realized we were there to help her. Most of her skin was raw from her mange, and her claws were so long she could barely walk. After a quick run the the vet and a skin scraping, it was determined she had Demodectic (red) mange, which is non-contagious. A soothing medicated bath, some treats and a nice soft bed was all it took for her to realize she was in good hands. She is approx. 9 months old, heart worm negative, up to date on all her vaccinations, and will be spayed before being adopted. ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in North Carolina
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in North Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
