Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Brie is a female pure blooded Pembroke welsh corgi who is spayed and up to date on all of her shots and heart worm medication. Within the past year, she received a dental cleaning of her teeth. She has lived with our family since she was a puppy for the past 9 years. She is trained to sit, stay, go to bed, and has been trained to certain 'boundaries' in our home such as the kitchen and family room. She loves to snuggle, have her belly rubbed and be at your feet. She is crate trained and knows the command 'go to bed.' She also loves to have a bath and tolerates her teeth being brushed and nails clipped on a regular basis. She is great ... We have tried training, however have been unsuccessful in curbing her aggression towards other dogs. We keep a very structured home however with four kids I can't control and monitor everything.:( Our oldest son has Type 1 diabetes and has a new service dog that is VITAL to his health. We are heartbroken to find Brie a new home, however it is imperative to have the service dog for our son. Brie would do best in a home where there were no other dogs and she could be the 'Queen' bee. PIease Read Before Adopting a Corgi in Oklahoma
Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
