|Animal ID: 1229201701Lulu (female)|
Lulu is the most adorable diamond in the rough that you will likely ever find. She had a rough start to her life but lives everyday with pure joy and happiness. She loves everyone and everything. Lulu was believed to have been hit by a car before being rescued. She was missing an eye and her back leg had a painful injury. Lulu had FHO surgery in December to relieve the pain and hopefully allowing her to regain use of the leg. She will just need limited activity (no jumping off furniture) for another month or so. But exercise is encouraged to help build her muscle tone. Lulu is a 1-2 year old 25-30lb Corgi/Shepherd mix. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is doing well with house and crate training. She does good with all dogs but may chase cats. We think she would do great with older kids. She must have a fenced no exceptions. Her adoption fee is $125.00 To meet one of our dogs and possible adopt, please fill out this pre-adoption form so it can be sent to the foster: http://www.adoptapet.com/cimarron-valley-humane-society-foster-based-rescue/adoption-application/ Some sites won't allow you to open the link--Copy and paste it into you URL or email us for a form. firstname.lastname@example.org. Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
