|Rescue Me ID: 17-10-19-00086Gus (male)|
Gus is as all Corgis very smart and emotionally intelligent. He is obedient and quick to learn. We are searching for a new home for him without kids as he has shown aggression and also nervousness around our 10 month old baby. His hearing and vision is not what it used to be so we think a baby is too unpredictable for him. He is nervous at night when the baby cries. He can be dominant when it comes to small children and young dogs/dogs with weaker personalities but listens well to adults. We are even able to walk him without a leash! He just wants to relax and soak up the sun. He is slowing down and really just needs a nice garden to spend the rest of his days as someone's companion! Corgi Dogs can make good pets in Germany if they match your IifestyIe. The Welsh Corgi comprises two distinct breeds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is the larger of the two, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which is more common. Welsh Corgis are some of the healthiest herding dogs out there. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are smart, devoted, and obedient dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are great with good children. Corgis are good guard dogs and can become overprotective unless they are thoroughly socialized as puppies. Corgis are active and energetic and need to be taken on long walks. Corgis can adapt well to apartment life with enough daily exercise.
